Lesson learned?

 

 

 

Shocked, appalled, speechless, outraged but determined; this is how I along with many Googoosh fans have felt for many years.

 

            Googoosh is the only true performer and an absolutely astonishing singer that Iran has seen in many years and the reality is that she will not be outperformed in the near future. It is therefore not surprising that the all others dream to associate themselves with her to insure their carrier and future altogether, some deserved their time with this unbelievable talent through their amazing contributions without intentions to abuse her, while others used and abused their association towards their personal achievements without credits given and in some cases credits taken! As I have written before in my previous article “Dancing with the wind” Mr. Shamaeezadeh is one example of such persons. Nonetheless; he is not the only example in view of the fact that there exist several of such individuals to this date! Throughout the years there were many who tried to produce, arrange, compose or even sing a song or two with/for Googoosh to better boost their carriers and they did succeed in doing so. Thanks to the historic and incomparable fame and popularity of the Persian Diva, Googoosh, these individuals used her as a shortcut bridge to their short-lived successes. Yes, short-lived; because most of these individuals believed that these overnight fames and successes that they acquired were personally achieved and there they went discrediting the one responsible! But the Iranian community simply put them in place. Mr. Amirghasemi is a clear example of how people treated and will treat those who think too high of their own self.

 

Bitter and ugly mishandling of their cross-bridged acquired fames created a high in these individuals so much that they came to assume and claim in their interviews that they found Googoosh, and that they were the ones who made her happen that even they taught her how to sing a certain way!!! You might wonder why these same words are being used over and over as used in “Dancing with the wind”. The fact of the matter is that lesson has not been learned! And the same claims are being held and even aired publicly on different interviews! One would assume, wisely, that subsequent to observing what had occurred to those who undertook such deeds they would learn to deter from such acts, but clearly this is not yet the case.

 

            On the contrary Googoosh does not demonstrate the slightest willingness to put these individuals in their place this is simply because Googoosh mostly concentrates on her performances and productions and that is exactly what a true diva does. However, one can easily obtain that she does not have to confront such harsh individuals. The Iranian community has so far and will put these ignorant individuals where they belong. They might come to believe that they were well-paid performers, producers, etc. in their pre-associations to Googoosh yet the evidence is there to support the exact contrary. It is well known that those on the top are more humble as we have a saying in Persian “derakht harche barash bishtar bashad sarash paeentar ast”.

 

            Perhaps a better way to ensure a seccessful future is to realize one's own talents and contributions. It is best to assess ourselves honestly and truthfully aside from the talents of all others such as Googoosh who already have established their names and simply cannot be forgotten.  Determined, we are to support Googoosh and only her.
