Dancing with the wind!
For the longest time Mr. Shamaeezadeh claimed that he was amongst
the few people who actually are responsible for the success of
Googoosh and that he should be credited for most of the Persian
diva’s accomplishments. He actually has said that he “made Googoosh
what she is”. This made me think about this more into details and
because I have heard a lot of this man’s other works I was a bit
hesitate to believe his claim.

I listened to his other works that he has done throughout the years
and are available in many albums of his and others. Among those that
I have listened to I can name “Ye dokhtar daram shah nadare”,
and “Jallal khalegh”. I thought to myself how can some one
claim that he “made Googoosh what she is” and yet cannot make
himself? This question was bothering me because when I do listen to
the songs that he composed for Googoosh such as “Mordab”, “Do
panjere”, and “Man-o-to” I cannot help but notice what
amazing song those were and still are.
When
I was enjoying the recent interview presented by Mrs. Homa Ehsan of
XTV I listened carefully what Googoosh had to say about Mr.
Shamaeezadeh. Googoosh said that it was during a concert in Isfahan
where Mr. Shamaeezade joined her team of musicians. And also Mr.
Andranik, arranger, in his most recent interview with Mr. Sepehrband
of Jam-e-Jam mentioned that it was him who made it possible for Mr.
Shamaeezadeh to present a copy of his work on a song to Googoosh
because Mr. Andranik used to be very close to Googoosh with regards
to her music and records. It was clear to me then that Googoosh was
the Googoosh we know before Mr. Shamaeezade joined her team! And his
claim of “making Googoosh what she is” is simply overestimated. It
should also be mentioned that no one denies that those songs that he
composed for Googoosh were amazing but it should be noted that it
was Googoosh who selected them knowing that he does have other
compositions that he has made so far and most of which sadly did not
appeal to the general public as those which Googoosh had selected
did and still do.
On a different note regarding Mr. Shamaeezadeh which makes one
wonder about his character is his tendency to dance with the wind of
dollars! As most people do know by now there have been many
incidents when the famous composer and now singer has been in
conflicts with the Persian diva, the most recent one was about
Googoosh’s criticism of the LA type music, which specially a
comparably good musician such as Mr. Shamaeezadeh must indeed agree
with as many others have, such as Mr. Andranik, Mr. Farhad Mehrdad,
Mr. Esfandiar Monfaredzadeh, Mr. Ardalan Sarfaraz, etc.
By
the help of Mehrdad, Googoosh’s new composer and arranger, Googoosh
once again stepped up and called him to heal the relation. During a
TV appearance he claimed that he has a special love in heart for
Googoosh that no one would understand! One might assume that due to
the speculations of her new album and not knowing who will composer
might be at that time encouraged Mr. Shamaeezadeh to come on her
side!! All of that came to a halt when the official announcement of
Googoosh’s new album fully composed by Mehrdad was released and
there was no longer any hope for Mr. Shamaeezadeh to benefit in any
way in the making of this album. The next move by this man was to
secure a deal with the one person who we all know, Mr. Amirghasemi,
whose name I’m disgusted to mention. Not only a deal to make his own
upcoming album but also he appeared on this evil man’s television
and gave an interview in which he went on to praise the very man who
broke Googoosh’s heart and all of her fans. Perhaps this is the love
he spoke of. At the end of this interview he hinted at something
that stroke me most and that was a request from the interviewer to
give him a discount on his new album!! I was this very moment that
his true intentions and the one and only thing he cares about came
to the surface and that was $$, the same symbol Googoosh has always
told us that others see her as.
